Next door, the Greenwood Community Theatre hosts numerous performances throughout the year highlighting Greenwood’s exceptional thespian talent.

Greenwood is an active tourism partner in the Old Ninety Six Tourism District, which prides themselves as the Freshwater Coast region. The politics of Freshwater Coast has profoundly influenced the state and nation, beginning with Ninety Six, the original courthouse village of the back country and strategic outpost during the Revolution. The fort and battle site are now the Ninety Six National Historic Site, located in Greenwood County.
